Bozhi Yang art practice concerns the emotion of human response to inanimate objects and abstract elements. How emotion response to them and how they affect emotion? What is an emotion? Emotion is rooted in the human heart. People all know what emotion is because people experience it, but it is hard to describe what it is. Emotions bring negative and positive effect on people：depression, anxiety, happiness… People try to use rational thinking to deal with all conditions, however perceptual thinking always affect the option of people directly.
It is important for her art practice which giving people a strong feeling in her work, so she try to use multiple media to express her aesthetic conceptions. And the video is the most significant expression, it is intuitive to represent her conceptions.
Her interest in the relationship between the change of weather and the emotion of human, people generally feel upset in a long night in winter, she found this phenomenon was related to the time of sunlight exposure, "sunrise" and "sunset". She constructed the change of the sunlight to show the emotional ups and downs, and her artworks express a relationship between the natural environment and human mentality.
In her practice, she was also questioning how to combine her personal experience with research conclusions to make a story. It also enables her to better understand the inner connection of each of her works, and to deeply explore the relationship between the individual and the external.
