Annie has always had a passion  for working with objects that have been forgotten or ignord,this has been essential in the evolution of her practice, it provides an avenue for her too express herself in ways that brings new life to her materials.She sees potential in the forgotten objects for the artist they hold lost memories of the past. she collects her objects from junk shops, charity shops and objects lost and drop on pavements.The artist sometimes turns theses mundane objects into sculptural pieces and she also creates boxes of curiosities, giving them a new visual language. For the artist its a way of breathing new life into the lost and found, protecting  them for the future.Her objects transfers the viewer into the past which speaks to us of memories, loss, and histories. She explores the way objects speaks to us through the memories that we may associate with them.
